Our Reviews Say

  • I was gifted this PJ set from an eczema mum for my daughter’s fifth birthday. We were so amazed that the first three nights she wore this, she didn’t wake up a single time scratching. She even asked to wear it all day! The bamboo material is soooo soft and light and great for thermoregulation. I love that the tags are all on the outside and the mittens are attached and super silky. My daughter can open and close them herself. I’ve already ordered another set so we always have one ready to go if the other is in the wash!

  • Loving the onesies, I’m so glad I found this organic bamboo baby clothing! The fabric is unbelievably soft – perfect for my baby’s skin.It is breathable and cool even on warmer days, which is a big plus for us. I love that it’s made without harsh chemicals or dyes, so I can trust it won’t irritate my baby’s skin. If you’re looking for comfy, gentle clothes for your little one, I highly recommend giving this a try!

  • Absolutely perfect for my eczema boy who itches relentlessly. I brought these for nights, but actually we’ve been wearing them as an underneath his day clothes as a breathable second layer to help reduce the scratch-itch cycle. The silk sleeves are wonderful and necessary extra touch.

  • My son asked me last night whether he could wear the pjs every night. I thought that was the best, honest review. The bamboo fabric allows his skin to breathe and he gets a more comfortable night’s rest. Thank you for a range that helps!

Why We Use Silk for Our Mittens

Why We Choose Bamboo

At Honey & Stitch, bamboo isn’t just a fabric, it’s a game-changer for little ones with eczema, sensitive skin, or sensory sensitivities.

We choose bamboo because it's naturally hypoallergenic, breathable, and incredibly soft. It helps regulate body temperature by keeping your child warm when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm. an essential feature for managing eczema-prone skin. Its moisture-wicking properties help reduce irritation caused by sweating or overheating, especially during sleep.

Not All Bamboo Is Created Equal

We often hear how wonderful bamboo fabric is, and it's true! But here's something most people don’t realise: not all bamboo is created equally.

The benefits of bamboo depend heavily on how it’s processed and produced. Some bamboo fabrics on the market can be treated with harsh chemicals during manufacturing, which can strip away its natural goodness and compromise its eco-friendliness.

At Honey & Stitch, we’re intentional about the kind of bamboo we use. Our bamboo fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they’ve been tested for harmful substances and are safe for even the most delicate skin. We also ensure our bamboo is closed-loop processed, which means chemicals used during manufacturing are safely captured and reused, not released into the environment.

So while bamboo is a fantastic fabric, we believe it’s just as important to look at how it’s made. Because when done right, it’s a win for sensitive skin, and a win for the planet.

Our Commitment to the Environment

Bamboo: A Better Choice for the Planet

Bamboo is one of the most sustainable plants on the planet. It grows incredibly fast, up to a metre a day, without the need for pesticides, herbicides, or fertilisers. Unlike conventional cotton, bamboo requires far less water and land to grow, making it an environmentally responsible choice for conscious families.

It also absorbs more carbon dioxide and releases more oxygen than many other crops, helping reduce greenhouse gases. And because bamboo roots remain in place after harvesting, it helps prevent soil erosion and supports long-term soil health.

Choosing bamboo means you're not only giving your child breathable, ultra-soft comfort, you're also making a thoughtful choice that supports a healthier planet for their future.
