Honey & Stitch was born from one mum’s journey through the ups and downs of managing her little one’s eczema. Frustrated by the lack of clothing that was both gentle on sensitive skin and stylish, she set out to create a solution herself. Traditional fabrics and seams, harsh labels, and restrictive designs weren't helping – there had to be something better.

After two years of drawing, testing, and refining designs, we crafted a collection that combines soft, breathable, and eczema-friendly fabrics with thoughtful, child-approved designs. Our fabrics, including OEKO-TEX certified bamboo and 100% mulberry silk, are carefully selected to be gentle on sensitive skin while ensuring ultimate comfort. We only create products we would trust for our own child, because your little ones deserve nothing less.

Laundry Tips to Protect Sensitive Skin and Fabrics

When managing eczema, paying attention to how you wash your clothes can make a significant difference. We suggest using our wash bag and following our care instructions.

• Always wash new clothes before wearing them.
• Turn garments and silk mittens inside out to ensure a more thorough clean, especially if you’re using creams on the skin.
• Use gentle, non-perfumed detergent. Perfumed detergents that are left on the fabric after washing and drying may irritate sensitive skin. Avoid using fabric softener.
• Machine wash in warm water with similar colours, at or below 40C. Do not use bleach.
• Your healthcare professional may advise tumble drying to minimise exposure to airborne pollutants. If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting if possible.
